After graduating from University College London and the Courtauld Institute of Art she worked for art galleries such as Lisson Gallery and Barbican before becoming a freelance writer. Her writing has appeared in the Guardian, Dazed, AnOther Magazine, BBC Arts, British Journal of Photography, Limna, Artsy, TANK, The Critic, Elephant, Little White Lies and Apollo (Art news daily).
