More about

Stationers’ Hall, close to St Paul's Cathedral, is the home of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers. The Company was first established in 1403 to represent the various professions of the book trade, and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1557. The Hall is a Grade I listed scheduled ancient monument, and one of the few ancient Livery Halls remaining in the City of London. This site has been occupied by the Stationers since 1606. Construction of the present Hall was completed in 1674, the original building having been destroyed in the Great Fire of London. Stationers' Hall still operates as the heart of the Company's commercial and social life, and its magnificent rooms and secluded garden are also available for corporate and private hire.
