Barts Health NHS Trust Archives and Museums holds one of the largest and most important hospital collections in the UK. In addition to archives (including records relating to over 35 current and former hospitals, as well as numerous institutions, charities, organisations and individuals related to health care and training in the City and East London), Barts Health holds an art collection that incorporates works by Hogarth, Millais and Reynolds, and runs a museum relating to the history of St Bartholomew's Hospital in the Grade I-listed North Wing of the hospital.

St Bartholomew's Hospital Museum and Archive is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am–4pm but sometimes closes at short notice – call in advance of a special visit. A limited number of paintings are publicly accessible via the Museum; contact the Archivist for more information.
