The art collection at Great Ormond Street Hospital comprises more than 320 artworks including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, textiles and digital pieces. Over 250 artists are represented in the collection, including well-known artists such as Quentin Blake, Clare Twomey, Helen Chadwick, Jason Bruges and Random International.
GOSH champions the role of art in hospitals and the collection is an important part of the GOSH Arts programme which includes new commissions, temporary exhibitions and a participatory programme. These aim to inspire creativity, create welcoming environments, and offer meaningful cultural opportunities across a variety of art forms for patients, families and staff.
