Clean Air Day is the UK's largest air pollution campaign, engaging thousands of people at hundreds of events, and reaching millions more through the media.
Air pollutants can affect biodiversity and ecosystem services, harm human health and contribute to climate change. Air pollution has caused widespread changes to sensitive ecosystems in the UK.
It is an important area of work for my colleagues at the UK Joint Nature Conservation Committee.
