Surrounded by a circular inscribed colonnade of unfluted Corinthian columns, there is a sunken court with a central fountain. The pedestal within the fountain is topped with a winged figure holding a sword in front and dolphins diving away from him. The three sides of the pedestal bear a soldier, a sailor and an airman raising wreaths above their heads towards the winged figure. There are nine small lion's head spouts sited below the cornice under the figures.
