Due to Covid-19 restrictions, venues and exhibitions are closed until further notice. We recommend checking with the venues' own websites for up-to-date information. The award winning Museum of Hartlepool tells the fascinating story of the development of Hartlepool from 3000 B.C. Redisplayed in 2008 it includes an important and diverse collection of objects that reflect the history of the Hartlepool district. The displays represent important parts of Hartlepool history such as the Medieval town, ship building and the First World War Bombardment of the Hartlepools.
