Laura Bauld is a Project Curator, working on the Burrell Renaissance Project – the large-scale refurbishment and redisplay of The Burrell Collection. Her current remit covers Decorative Arts from 1603–1800 from The Burrell Collection, including silver, glass, treen, porcelain and furniture collections.
Laura's interests include museum activism, collaborative community working and co-curation. Laura has also intensively researched LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) histories within Glasgow Museums, working in partnership with the LGBTQ community in Glasgow to improve access and visibility of these histories within the museum collections and venues.
