A robed female figure, Valour, sits cross-legged on top of a shield which is crushing the struggling figure of Cowardice. Only the left arm, shoulder, head and neck of Valour are visible, lying face down under the shield. Valour wears a helmet and has her right arm outstretched, originally holding something in her right hand. To her left side is a shield.
