This is a fountain in the Renaissance style with the four seasons represented by grotesque cherubs, and the 12 months depicted in the Latin frieze above the ceramics. The heads of the cherubs, surmounted by a volute, support the basin. Winter is represented by a figure huddled under a coat and turning to the left; the left hand of the figure holds the cloak around the face while the right hand clasps it against the body. The semi-nude figure to the right represents Spring and has a drapery sash across the body which supports a bag of seeds; the right hand of the cherub holds the seeds while the left supports the bag. Next is the depiction of Autumn, a frontal figure that holds out a fruit in the right hand and has a drapery sash over the left shoulder.
