A small lighthouse previously located at the end of St Catherine's Breakwater with polished and inscribed marble surround. It is dedicated to the 'Jersey 22' who did not return from continental concentration camps and penal prisons.

incised into the separate marble panels surrounding the lighthouse: THIS MEMORIAL / IS DEDICATED / TO THOSE / ISLANDERS WHO / NEVER RETURNED / "LEST WE FORGET"; IN MEMORIAM / BETWEEN 1940 AND 1945, / MORE THAN 300 ISLANDERS WERE TAKEN FROM JERSEY / TO CONCENTRATION CAMPS AND PRISONS / ON THE CONTINENT, / FOR POLITICAL CRIMES COMMITTED / AGAINST THE GERMAN OCCUPYING FORCES.; other panels hold names of those deported; plaque affixed to front of lighthouse: APART FROM THE FIVE YEARS OF GERMAN / OCCUPATION THIS LIGHT, FROM ST.CATHERIN'S / BREAKWATER, SHONE BRIGHTLY FOR OVER ONE / HUNDRED YEARS TO WARN SEAMEN OF DANGER. / TODAY, IT STANDS AS A MONUMENT TO THOSE / ISLANDERS WHO DIED IN CONCENTRATION / CAMPS FAR FROM THEIR ISLAND HOME, / A SYMBOL OF REMEMBRANCE AND / A BEACON OF HOPE FOR THE FUTURE. / THIS MEMORIAL WAS UNVEILED BY THE BAILIFF / OF JERSEY, SIR PHILIP BAILHACHE, / ON 9th NOVEMBER 1996
