Two rectangular steps with squat corner piers, lead up to rectangular base with marble inscription plaque to the south. There is a rectangular pier above with recessed corner pilasters with moulded bases and capitals. Each side has a marble inscription plaque with wreath and draperies above. It has an inscribed frieze above around all four sides, topped with smaller, recessed rectangular piers, with north and south sides featuring down turned swords, and east and west sides featuring down turned torches. The work is topped with an urn finial, and iron chain supported, on small ashlar piers extending round memorial.
