The three-stepped base is surmounted by a column with four sloping faces indented to give the shape of a cross. There are names on metal plaques attached to each face. A First World War dedicatory inscription is carved into the base. A plaque for the Second World War inscription is placed at the base. The top is surmounted by a wreath connected to each face by stone hanging ribbons.
