This archway was erected to celebrate the thirtieth birthday in 2007 of Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity. It marks the beginning of the Bristol and Bath Railway Path. 'Twisted Arch' is made of reclaimed steel, both girders and poles. It is ‘a symbol of regeneration and growth’, an ideal gateway between city and countryside.
