This is a painting by Bernard Davey who was the 32nd BBC Weather Network Presenter. From 1975 to 1978 he was based at RAF Laarbruch in Germany before transferring to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire. In 1985 he moved to the London Weather Centre and became a member of BBC Television's forecasting team in March 1987. He took early retirement from the Met Office at the end of 1993.
