A metal cannon with intricately carved detail commemorating Newark's role in the Civil War. It features images and mottoes from the English Civil War, including the Newark town motto 'Trust in God and Sally', and Royalist designs from the House of Stuart, such as a thistle and crown. On the same site as the original cannons would have been placed.
