Six polished black sculptures of varying shape and size line the centre of the walkway for over a hundred metres in two groups of three. For some they are reminiscent of catafalques. The cavernous street becomes Westminster Hall and gains a certain funereal dignity. The works are simultaneously also benches and lively social meeting places for office workers, and at night the blue neon lighting, which is an integral part of the design, brings a new life to each structure and successfully animates the street as a whole.
