Adrian Paul Allinson
1890–1959
Painter, sculptor, draughtsman and poster designer. Born in London. He initially studied medicine, but gave this up to study art at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1910–12, where he was a member of a notable group of students working under Henry Tonks, Philip Wilson Steer, Fred Brown and Walter Westley Russell.
