The work is part of a housing regeneration project, where the artist worked with local residents on the design. It is set on a small rectangular block base, double aspect carved with the word 'Phoenix'. On top sits a circle of stainless-steel encompassing a birdbath, and within this is a double-sided stone carved phoenix with wings spread rising from flames.
