The work is within four low, rebuilt walls above the early medieval foundations of Bristol Castle and consists of a floor, approximately seven meters square, of white ceramic tiles. On the southern wall, a vertical panel of three tiles marks the outlet of a source of water that once flowed across the floor. Flat ceramic fish skeletons are fixed in a pattern that gives the impression that they are following the flow of water from that point.
