One of three 'sibol' babies made in the Philippines and brought to Wales for the Lual birthing at the International Potters Festival in 2015. (Lual is the name of a kiln created by artist Rita Gudiño which is in the shape of a birthing woman, ). Julio represents one of Rita Gudiño's children who was not with her on this journey. It is important to Rita Gudiño that these works symbolically share her experience in Wales, and she uses them to express the importance of her family and her history.
