A bust of Robert Hooke (1635–1703), in the classical style but made from cotton fabric with printed text and illustrations from his book 'Micrographia'. Hooke was the Curator of Experiments at The Royal Society. A series of modern portraits of Hooke were commissioned to commemorate the tercentenary of his death. This was part of an international conference by the Royal Society and Gresham College entitled 'Restoring the Reputation of Robert Hooke', July 2003.
