Staged dual self-portrait. Juno Calypso spent three days in isolation, photographing herself in an unoccupied and perfectly preserved underground bunker, thirty feet underground in Las Vegas, USA. It was designed in 1979 by Jay Swayze who believed the surface of the Earth would one day be uninhabitable. Its purpose was to withstand any disaster during the Cold War, including earthquake or nuclear fallout. It was the home of Gerry and Mary Anderson of the Avon cosmetics dynasty. The view is from the perspective of the bunker's fake garden looking in through two windows through which two adjacent rooms can be seen. There is fake grass under the windows and foliage on the left and right of the windows. On the left Calypso is sitting on the floor looking away, dressed in a long sleeved pink top.
