A small sculpture of a hawk standing atop a tree trunk plinth. Standing near to the Rochford Canal, it was erected as part of a canal improvement scheme. The hawk is inspired by the name of the nearby hamlet of Hawksclough and the Ted Hughes poem 'Hawk Roosting'.
