Galopin (winner of the Derby 1875) with jockey up on a racecourse.

Galopin was bought by Prince Bathuyany in 1873 for 520 guineas. The colt was by Vedette (a son of Voltigeur) out of Flying Success, and much was expected of him. His promise was fulfilled by a win in the Derby of 1875.
