This original design is for a large poster used by Caley’s on hoardings all over London around 1918. It shows three Elizabethan apprentice boys running up the street. Alfred Munnings writes in his autobiography: 'Now and then I made a hit. The arrangement is right; I realise that my School of Art training in the antique life gave me advantages'.
