This painting is by an unknown artist from Tibet. Framed painting of four-armed Chenrezig, or spyan-ragzigs, the Tibetan form of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. He holds a pink lotus in his upper left hand and a rosary in the upper right; both lower hands in vitarka mudra. He is painted white and seated on a lotus, surrounded by clouds. The four other deities depicted are: Mañjusuri in the bottom left, Vajrapani the wrathful deity in the bottom right, Amitabha Buddha at upper left, and Green Tara at the top right.
