A triangular, three-sided structure built from wood-fired brick and incorporating a bespoke hand-painted image inspired by Azulejos tiling, depicting the local area, wildlife and history. It includes a decorative archway and seating area, which overlooks Willow Lake and the environment around it.

Inscription description

Alphonso overlooks the beautiful environment around / Willow Lake. Sarah has taken inspiration from local heritage, / particularly the former brickworks. Alphonso is built from / bespoke and handmade brick elements, including the fish slips / and glazed sections. The blue and white tiles are hand-painted / by Sarah and depict the local area, its wildlife and history. / Commissioned by Milton Keynes Council working in collaboration / with the Newton Leys Public Art Steering Group.
