Draughtsman, painter in watercolour and oil and etcher, born in Surrey. She studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, 1961–5, teachers including Robert Medley, Frank Auerbach, Euan Uglow, Frank Bowling and R B Kitaj. She won a Leverhulme Travelling Award, Europe, 1965–6; travelled in America, 1968; gained an Abbey Award in Painting, working at the British School at Rome, and elsewhere in Italy, 1991; and continued with a further Abbey Award in 1995. Took part in extensive group exhibitions, including SWG from 1971; LG from 1982; Small is Beautiful, Angela Flowers Gallery, from 1983; Beardsmore Gallery, from 1992; and Marking Presence, ArtSway, Sway, 1997. Had a solo show at Morley Gallery, 1973, with a retrospective of drawings and prints, 1980–97, there in 1997.
