Sculptor, born in Colombo, Ceylon, who gained his sculpture diploma at Camberwell School of Art, 1966–70. He won a South East Arts Award, 1976, and a British Council Northern Norway Exchange, 1988. Group shows included The Unpainted Landscape, a Scottish Arts Council tour, 1987; Woodlands, Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham, 1990; Art in Nature, Arte Sella, Sella Valley, Italy, 1994, and Pure Paint, Stephen Lacey Gallery, 1999. Had a solo show, Medicine Wheel, Coracle, 1983, later ones including Rebecca Hossack Gallery, 1993, Vessel, Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, and tour, 1995, Silent Spaces, Janus Avivson Gallery, New York, America, 1999; De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, 2002; and Heart of stone, Stephen Lacey, 2004, which toured from Wales.
