Sculptor and teacher, born in Bradford, Yorkshire, who studied at the local College of Art, then Hornsey and Royal Colleges of Art, in 1970–2 being a Rome Scholar. Held a number of teaching posts, from 1975 being senior lecturer at Manchester Polytechnic/Manchester Metropolitan University. Exhibited widely from 1965, when appeared in Young Contemporaries, later appearances including RA Summer Exhibitions from 1987; Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool, 1989; Storey Institute, Lancaster, 1992; and 1st RWA Open Sculpture Exhibition, 1993. Lived in Rusholme, Manchester.
