Self-taught painter in oil of figures and landscapes, born in Birmingham. He was an accomplished creator of popularly pleasing images who exhibited at many venues, including RA, NEAC, ROI, RWA and Paris Salon. Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Birkenhead, owns his picture Holiday Makers at a River Resort. Lived in London.
