Painter, born in London, who studied at Chelsea College of Art and the Royal College of Art. The 1998 East International at Norwich Gallery, Norwich School of Art, included Whittlesea’s The Invisible is real – Walter De Maria, in Liquitex on canvas. Whittlesea had a solo exhibition of studio paintings at the Austrian Cultural Institute, 2000–1, another at Jerwood Gallery in 2003.
