Painter in oil and tempera. Studied at Hammersmith School of Art under William Washington, 1932–6, then at the Royal College of Art under Percy Jowett, 1936–40. Became painting master at Hammersmith School of Art. Exhibited RA, the provinces and in America. CASW bought his work. Lived in London.
