Painter in oil, born at Hastings, Sussex. She studied art at the Slade School of Fine Art under Sir Walter Westley Russell and Henry Tonks, winning the Landseer Prize. Headley Neave became a prolific exhibitor, including the RA, NEAC, WIAC, RP, RBA, RSA and Paris Salon. She lived at Etchingham, Sussex.
