Artist using printmaking techniques, pencil and layered acrylic, born in west Sussex, the county where she finally set up her studio. McLaren-Clark completed a foundation course at Northbrook College of Art and Design, then graduated in fine art from the University of Surrey. After a period employed in the art world, she returned to her own work. A childhood on the south coast and the beaches and ports of the French west coast influenced what she created. Found objects were important, along with harbours, sea walls, buoys and small boats, in pictures which had an abstract element. Exhibitions included Gallery One, Barnes.
