A triangular-shaped monument structured from concrete encased in black plastic cladding. Each of the three faces contain a clock dial made with stainless steel hands and stands inserted into the face representing the numbers. The outer faces are linked to the internal structure which is adorned with small square-cut orange and white ceramic tiles. The monument is in need of repair and it seems none of the clocks are actually working today. There was formerly a small plaque in the garden at the front of the monument, which read: 'Planted with Peacekeeper Roses, to celebrate fifty years of the United Nations, by Reading Mayor – Cllr David Geary'. This plaque has long since disappeared – as have the roses.
