The work depicts Christ healing Bartimaeus who kneels before him. The relief is a depiction of Mark 10:46–52, from the New Life Version of the Bible – 'Healing of the Blind Man'. The relief is sited on the façade of the King George V extension entrance to Moorfields Eye Hospital.
