Wiltshire and Swindon Learning Resources (WSLR) is a subscription-based loan service, wholly financed by participating schools, which lends a wide range of educational resources to schools in both the maintained and independent sectors. As part of the service, nearly 500 framed pictures are available for loan to schools and other borrowers. The pictures include original lithographs, screen prints, etchings and works in other media, mainly by living or recent-era artists.
The collection covers a wide range of styles and subject matter and can be used to encourage art appreciation, to illustrate class topics, or simply to enhance the learning environment.
