The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery is an oasis of calm and inspiration, just minutes from Leeds city centre. A hidden gem at the heart of the University of Leeds campus, the Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery – part of Leeds University Library – offers innovative temporary exhibitions and displays treasures from the University Art Collection and Library Special Collections. The Collection includes stunning examples of European and British paintings, drawings and prints, dating from the seventeenth century up to the present day, as well as small collections of sculpture, ceramics, miniatures and photographs. The Gallery runs a lively programme of public events – including artist talks, discussions, and art workshops – as well as educational activities, for University, school and community groups.
