More about

The Hereford Museum Resource and Learning Centre is the central storage facility for the county’s museum collections, with a difference! In addition to the climate controlled stores which keep reserve collections preserved for all to enjoy, the centre is also open to the public for access to the collections, curatorial advice and identifications. Visitors can arrange to see part of the collection for research purposes, or arrange to take a group on a general tour of the building and collections. Family friendly events take place in school holidays and half-terms, together with workshops and lectures in the Learning Room. The building houses the range of collections held by the Museum: art, archaeology, costume and textiles, decorative art, natural history and social history. Many objects have a relevance to Herefordshire but others are of wider significance. Museum staff are also on site and may be contacted to arrange visits or for advice.
