More about

Parc Howard Museum and Art Gallery sits in the centre of a lovely public park. The park, museum and art gallery were first opened to the public in 1912. The art gallery is on the ground floor but paintings are distributed throughout the building. Parc Howard tells the story of Llanelli and is also home to a very large collection of Llanelly Pottery. Among Parc Howard’s most popular paintings are ‘Der Bittgang (The Prayer Walk)’ by Hubert von Herkomer, ‘View of Llanelli from the Furnace Quarry’ by James Dickson Innes and ‘In the Golden Weather’ by Charles William Mansel Lewis.
