Shropshire Museum Service's Fine Art collection includes oils, watercolours and prints, principally of local topographical interest. Other notable works represent people and events that have shaped Shropshire and form a valuable pictorial history of the County. A significant proportion of the collection was transferred to the Museum Service from Whitchurch Museum in the 1970s and Shrewsbury Museums in 2009.
