The collection of paintings held by the Milford Haven Heritage and Maritime Museum is not very large and is without exception of a maritime nature. The basis for most of the collection is related to the fishing industry – Milford Haven being at one time the fourth largest fishing port in the United Kingdom. All of the paintings are by amateur artists, many with connections to the locality.
