Les Augrès Manor
Les Augrès Manor

Once the home of Durrell’s founder, Gerald Durrell, Les Augrès Manor house is still the hub of the wildlife park. With traditional pink Jersey granite walls, the house dates back to the sixteenth century and has featured in many of Gerald Durrell’s books including ‘Menagerie Manor’. His unfailing dedication to saving our planet’s most endangered species began over 50 years ago, and his legacy lives on in Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, an international conservation charity.
