Lady Hawkins’ School holds a small collection of paintings and etchings. The most significant oil painting is the oil portrait of Lady Margaret Hawkins, Foundress of Lady Hawkins’ School and second wife of Sir John Hawkins. The portrait dates from c.1619 and is painted by an unknown artist on quarter oak boards.
The collection is held in the main entrance area of Lady Hawkins’ School. Please contact the school if you would like to arrange a viewing of the collection.
