Ipswich Town Hall features a small number of paintings, on display in the Council Chamber and on the stairwell. Works on display include ‘A Glass of Wine with Caesar Borgia’ (1893) by John Collier and ‘Forging the Anchor’ (1892) by Stanhope Forbes. Works can be viewed by appointment. The Town Hall, built in a grand Victorian architecture style, features 3 figureheads of King Richard I, Cardinal Wolsey and King John, who all have links to the town of Ipswich.
