Henry Moore Studios and Gardens

The Henry Moore Foundation was founded by sculptor Henry Moore and his family in 1977 to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts. Today the Foundation presents an imaginative programme of exhibitions and research – both at its own venues and worldwide – while supporting innovative sculpture projects through the Henry Moore Grants programme. The Foundation has its headquarters at Moore’s home in Perry Green, Hertfordshire: where the estate is home to a collection of approximately 15,000 Moore works, including sculpture, maquettes, drawings, prints, tapestries and textiles, and the Henry Moore Archive. Open to visitors from April each year as Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, the estate showcases 20 – 25 outdoor sculptures in the landscape that Moore shaped over four decades. Visitors can explore the artist’s creative process in six of his studios and take a tour of the Moore family’s home. 31 March to 31 October 2021 Wednesdays to Sundays & Bank Holidays, 11am – 5pm Winter opening: 6 November to 12 December 2021 Saturdays and Sundays only, 11am – 4pm
