Our mission is to enrich people’s lives by providing opportunities to engage with quality contemporary art and to bring the work of artists with national and international reputations to the people of Bradford. Bradford 1 Gallery is Bradford Council’s free city centre art gallery. Situated at the heart of the city in Centenary Square, opposite the City Hall, this modern gallery exhibits a series of temporary contemporary art exhibitions throughout the year. It is a prime site to showcase the magnificent collections of Bradford and to encourage the public to engage with the rich artwork held in these collections.
