Ross-on-Wye Town Council owns two eighteenth-century unknown portraits and a nineteenth-century portrait of John Kyrle, The Man of Ross. A further nineteenth-century painting by Richard Waller of Thomas Blake has recently been acquired from Ross-on-Wye Library. Two twenty-first-century works by James Purvis are also owned by the Council. These are called 'Abstract Composition' and 'Mask'.
